Okay, then please bear with me, everything that I'm about to say is meant purely in the interest of future improvement. I do not expect you to do anything to accommodate my tastes nor to alter an already-complete image.
In the tags and in the description, this is described as a ferret or marten, but they possess distinctly canine paws, tail, ears, face structure, and limb proportions. As an experiment, you may show the picture to anyone who hasn't seen it before and ask them "what species do you think I've drawn?" I expect an overwhelming majority will posit fox or coyote.
So what can we do to give the ferret the ferret-ness they deserve?
A ferret has a wide foot with thin digits and 5 toes, such as seen at https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/.....NBhg&s . The foot structure can be tricky since mustelids have varying degrees of planti/digitigrade hybrid feet, able to sit back on heels but not really using them while running.
Their tails are typically thin, with very little "fluff" to them. Usually longer in wild species, shorter in domesticated, such as at https://64.media.tumblr.com/ff65bcd.....r17va6_540.jpg . The picture above has a very canine silhouette, with thick puff along the underside.
For a ferret, you can dramatically increase it's ferret-ness by having an angular face with tight round ears. The less of a concave you have at the 'bridge' between the eyes, the better. That is much more a canine/feline feature. The nostrils of most mustelids and musteloids will appear to have the nostrils notched out to the sides, like https://i.redd.it/81dm5ngefsw71.jpg . For style purposes, you CAN maintain a muzzle bridge if you need to, such as seen on the character Weekly from the Blacksad comics, but it REALLY captures that mustelid essence if you can get a fully ferret-accurate skull shape onto them.
For body shape, I fully understand that there's a decision to be made about how much human to have in the build, so it's entirely understandable to go with the default human proportions. But I definitely assign major bonus points to anyone who can incorporate the long ferret neck, long noodle body, and short limbs into their depiction. Take https://www.furaffinity.net/view/45974919/ as an example of the impact that such a look can have.
I could expand further but this is probably enough for the moment. I hope it is received in the constructive manner in which it is intended. Thank you for sharing your work with us. :)
