This is my take on an AU Knuckles. After the events of Prime, Knuckles has his form mixed and matched with his variants. Now comes Onyx, an echidna who is a well known treasure hunter and adventurer. Nicknamed Knuckles. But don't fret. The Master Emerald is safely guarded by the Chantix, his lifelong friends. He let's them stay with no rent as long as they keep an eye on it. What journeys lie ahead of him in this fractured reality? Only time will tell.
