Captain Alana Cuarán makes her triumphant return to my gallery. She'd say hi, but I think she's a bit preoccupied at the moment. Whoever pissed her off, you've got five seconds to start running.

Two...
Those of you who are familiar with Alana from reading Oseille, or from the first commission I bought of her will know that she's a sweet girl, and not exactly your career soldier. In fact, she's always wanted to give up fighting and follow in her father's footsteps as a sort of wandering priest. Unfortunately, her position as the sole heir to the throne of the City of Cats, and the fact that she's a hybrid in a world that looks down on hybrids, keeps her from following her own path in life.
Her distaste for fighting doesn't make her any less dangerous. She might be a bit more inclined to show mercy than some of her contemporaries, but if you give her a reason to fight she will take you to pieces. She's loyal to her friends and protective of those under her command and the only person who has ever defeated Alana in combat is Deirdre Lohan.

*Grins* I won't tell her if you won't. It's probably for the best anyway. Can you imagine a lynx on a sugar high?
It is a wonderfully done picture, I agree, and Alana looks very dangerous here. I know I'd run if I saw her coming for me! I do remember how much you liked her, and I thought it was long past time I got her drawn again. With a little luck, she might show up a bit more often, too. She's another character I've always kind of wanted to go back and write for, and explore her past a bit. I want to get a picture of her and Ciara together sometime, too.

Ooh, a challenger appears, huh? Alana's never really fought any cats before, except in training matches. The only cats on her home island live in her city-state, and are her allies, so she normally only fights foxes or wolves. But she might actually enjoy a bit of a sparring match.
