So uhhh...one morning I wanted to practice somethings I've found myself to be incredibly lacking in. Which are:
1. Painting directly in color and not the greyscale method I've been rapping on about
2. Strong planes of forms
3. MECHA
So I did this and...I don't know what the hell kind of artistic ghost possessed my hand. Color palette selected before hand. Design of the armor/bot was improvised and freehanded at the start.
I would love some critiques if anyone has any. ;u; Enjoy~

I love the cheek shadows and plates of the what I'm guessing is horns (yes, no?) The angles of the chin and jawline are phenomenal as well, and although I can't see it, it appears their chin would rival Bruce Campbell. Careful with the mouth, though, the angles seem to be a tad off, not sure if you meant for that just a bit distracting however, and on the edge of the cheek leading up to the fore mentioned horn, the depth of the picture gets lost. Like, that parts of that ear-like space just seems depthless in a way, especially as it goes up toward the horn. Even so, it's a stunning piece, and the most notable part is the expression, which for such small amount of actual visage, you capture it very menacingly. I think you should try this much more often ^^
