Being an Espeon with allergies doesn't exactly bode well with a twitchy, delicate, transformative gem like Roxy's. While powerful, a moderately strong sneeze is all it really takes to activate the fragile thing, typically causing a swift, unwanted shapeshift and breakage afterwards.
