Yet another white siderian: Thalarctos Nivalis. Now I have at least Stian, Yves, Alva and him - nicely confusing ;P. And yet they are all very different, I still find it surprising how people mix up Yves and Stian.
Siderians are my fantasy FELINE species (horse sized, Oriental cat based felines with features of tigers and lynx).
Although Thalarctos looks quite a bit like a polar bear.
Thalas (as how I shortly call him) is the kind of antagonist my story about which I want to write a book once...
Although he maybe the antagonist, he's not the villain, that's somebody else. Here he's circling around other Siderians and trying to tell them an important message... (no more spoilers XD). I was inspired by the very nice work of ProfessorPemzini to draw some blurry character in the foreground, so that you are more 'drawn into the scene'. And I tried to hexagon brush, often used by just-Rascal - it gives a nice effect I think
Quite a quick, low resolution drawing without too much details. Nice to play around with composition and values - I still feel I need to work a lot more on that.
