The red walls whispered that night.
A chill ran through the old monastery halls, and something heavy — something hungry — awoke beneath the crimson sky.
Jarndulf didn’t escape October unscathed.
He became October.
This is my last piece for the spooky season — a small bonus after completing all 31 Inktober prompts.
I wanted to end with something darker, more haunting... something that captured that strange silence after the final scream.
