well they better be thankful they are level 5 at least. and they technically have their whole life ahead of themselves again.

besides i would think some ex humans would had made a clothing shop just in case, because some people might feel naked even if they have fur/scales/feathers.

now question would they stay a p9okemon if they went back to their world or would they change back? and what sort of challenges do you think they might encounter if they kept their Pokémon form(would they count as part of their own team or would they get a special 7th slot?)

Well since we have never seen what happens when people return cause they always come back through the wish of their partner im gonna say.... once a pokemon always a pokemon, that or this is how pokefurs are made cause we miss being pokemon

very true but consider this in the anime/ and the detective pikachu movie, we have had people turn into pokemon( via mewtwo) (ditto turn into a human).zoroark even disguised itself as a nurse joy. ask got turned into a pikachu one episode. so that's something to consider.

professor bill even was working on a device to turn people into pokemon and vis versa(if you remember his accidental . and given how none of the pokemon in pmd seem overly shocked by a human coming to their world it hints it happens more often then the games give credit for. this might seem a stretch but what if bill's device "worked" in a way that wasn't thought about. because consider this we don't see him shutting down the machine, so it could be possible that a wave of energy(think dr.stone) went around the world and triggered transportation at random times.

also we have another clue how their world works. at any age if they get transported they get level 5'd,* which means the transition disregards the age. now in some cases the person retains their memories(they did release little shorts on dvd(think cartoon versions, of part of the storyline) ). but consider this it's never kids it's always adults that get ported., i'm going to come back to this later.

now if that is one piece, now the test they put the character through seems also standard, but in later games the person can break out of that can choose their form, from a select list, but what if that list was just a "small" not the entire list. so that means they can choose from any pre evolved Pokémon, but not one stager Pokémon(Pokémon with no evolutionary line.

the last piece we know is once their job is done they are sent back unless someone wishes them to come back while the person is being taken back. yet as the pokemon world gets more peaceful there are less and less "things the pokemon has to be saved from, which means there is something besides dangerous pokemon that leads to people being pulled. and i know the reason population growth(that's right certain species are dying faster then others so to maintain the numbers people are plucked from our world.

now regarding what i just said and the level 5 . would allow someone to make a connection and over time the nature(instincts) might take over,and if that's the case then we can guess the pokemon world is dying. why do we get a friendship orb? that means it's giving you options, and in end game you can switch between pokemon, including male and female
