[Before the party ends]

All pumpkins started to glow bright, including Kit. The others are slowly floating with their happy face before they turn into an energy ball and start to floating upwards.

Both Bas and Ken know that this day would've come eventually but it still hurts so much... Especially for Ken.

Kit: Aww come on, dad. Don't cry please. I'm not gonna die, I just have to go. Don't worry. My friends are here to return with me.
Ken: Does... Does it have to be this way... I... don't want you to go yet...
Kit: I'm not gonna go anywhere though. I'll be back one day. if ...I can have a second chance somehow.
Bas: I'm so sorry Kit my son. I'm not strong enough to hold you for more longer...
Ken: I couldn't even... Do s**t to stop it... I'm so sorry.
Kit: Hey you two! You did do enough for me to having fun throughout the year...

Kit: Since I was born as a pumpkin. You two actually treat me as if I was your son. Even to this day. Don't be sad.

Bas: We make you together with efforts and heart. And of course! I'm obviously the one that turned you this way. I'm so happy to take care of you all the way.
Kit: hehe... I'm so glad.

Bas: Although we both know that's going to happen... I still cannot accept it... I'm so sorry.
Kit: I will be fine, Mom. I can still come back to you two if something happens. But I won't be a pumpkin anymore. Still love being a cute little boy though...

Ken: ...we will thinking of you a lot...
Bas: I don't think... I'm not going to forget about you for my entire life now...
Kit: Dad... Mom...... Thank you...
Bas: Hey. That should be us to say that though. You too Kit my son.
Ken: You made me truly understand what father actually means.
Ken: Do you think I... can be a good father?
Kit: What... do you mean...? You are! Has the 12 months you did for me didn't prove it enough for you dad? Oh! Here here.

I'm so sorry for everyone who doesn't want this to happen. Actually I don't know if this is a good decision at all but... I have planned this for months and now... I don't know anymore... Oh man... Tell me if I made a mistake or something.

I'm not deleting Kit from my oc list for sure. He might return but won't be a pumpkin all the time though.
