Gunther is one of my favorite comic bears! He has a wife named "Flo",a son named "Tuck",and I can remember the name of his daughter for the life of me!
I don't know know how long Bill have been drawing The Grizzwells,I started reading the comic back in 1987 and been hooked ever since! At least till "The Dallas Morning News" newspaper dropped The Grizzwells and some of my other favote comics from their comics pages back in 1994!
All the negative feelings you could get,I went through them!

Terrel featured them in their news paper,but I live in Dallas!
I recently found them online,on that "GoComics" website you mentioned.
I must say that Bill Schorr draws The Grizzwells a whole lot different now than he did back then! I know Gunther wore pants with one suspender more often back in. the old days.
His head is smaller now,he appears taller and slimmer.
Well,I recently started reading this comic again and this comic has changed a lot from the way Bill Schorr drew it nearly 17 years ago.
Good thing I keep some of his earlier comics.
That "Molly ant the Bear" is a good comic too.
We need more comics,tv show,and stuff that evolves more around bears!

I am enjoying Molly and the Bear already too, I really wish that and Grizzwells could be a cartoon. And I agree, seems like cartoons and comics that deal with bears are very entertaining.

I'm a big fan of the Grizzwells! I didn't know that I actually catched the comic when Bill started it! I need to go bug that guy for a T-Shirt! I like "Tuck"! I find him rather unique wearing only shoes and running across that bully everynowandthen.
Disney?! Let's see.. They changed a lot too. Imo,for the worse if you ask me! I use to love how the Bears were drawn and such details they put into the characters! After BrotherBear,they sorta went dry on bears and seem to be promoting more "human" shows.
They need to get back into cartooning and come up with new bear characters! All through Disney's career,they came up with some cool bear characters like,"Bonkers","RawToonage,Snookums and Meat,Darkwing Duck,and Chip-n-Dale cartoon shows to name a few! Oh yeah,don't forget TaleSpin!

I don't know the comic, but man, you did a really nice work with him ^^ Nice bear... and very huggable ^^
