[few minutes before midnight]

The only one jack-o'-lantern left and still glowing, Kit decided to give their dad and mom a crown, a crown that they make together and turned him to life.

So if one day, a miracle happens again he will take it back and become their son for real...

Bas: Your crown? You don't want to keep it for yourself? It's a gift from us to you after all.
Kit: Mom... It's not just a gift tho. It's something that far more precious than that... It's a symbol of how much love from you two gave me all this time.I want you two to keep it for me. Please? So you two can have something to remember for me while I'm not here.

Kit: Also. If somehow I came back to life... can I take my crown back?
Bas: But... How? How can I...
Kit: Believe in yourself, mom. You have the power and anything can happen as long as dad is with you.
Ken: Do you think I have that in me too? My power...
Kit: Who knows. Maybe if dad or mom or both miss me, we could be a family again. It'd be fun to have you two raising me, playing games, teach me stuffs and so many things again!
Ken: Hahaha. Of course!
Bas: We'd be so happy to have you as our actual son for real. So that's mean you'll come back. Right?
Kit: I... Don't know... It depends...
Ken: No matter how long we'll wait for you. To be our son once more.
Kit: *nods* ...mmm mmm!

Kit is glowing even more bright as his time is running up.

Kit: Well... Mom... Dad... See you later...
Bas: See you again, son.
Ken: Thank you for everything. I hope you can be my son again.

He smiles with a happy face before fading into a large energy ball and float into the sky along with the others.

The world turned silent for a minute. No one said anything. All left are leftovers from the party. And a bit of sadness, happiness and hope.

Until Ken started to say something.

Ken: ... Hey...
Bas: huh?
Ken: Do you think I can be a good father... at least once more?
Bas: ... I... Don't know. Only time will tell I think.
Ken: Dude. That's one the most type of answer coming from you huh.
Bas: hehe sorry. We did so much for him though.
Ken: You know. I never thought about having a child or why should I care, because we're both gay and I still love being with you always... Until... Kit came through our life this year. I think I found something in me though. But...
Bas: Ken... I'm so sor-
Ken: Nono! Don't say that. It's okay It wasn't even your fault it turned this way. In fact. I always loved how everything turned out this way since forever.

Ken: You saved me so many times already and now you made me learn something so important to us. By having a son together.
Ken: All of this thanks to you, Bas. Thanks for Letting me carve Kit that day. Without that. all of these stuffs wouldn't happened.
Bas: You too, Ken. My power alone couldn't do anything like that one. Nor that I can control them anyway. It was your doing too. Isn't it?
Ken: Ummm...
Bas: hehe. Okay then. You should keep that crown until he comes back though.
Ken: oh yeah. Oops. Well. Let's go to bed now. We clean that tomorrow.
Bas: you're going to leave all the mess around though?
Ken: Dude. I wanna sleep first!
Bas: Okay okay. We'll call it a day then. Let's go, Ken.

Both Bas and Ken walking into their house. Before he go inside, he looked at a picnic table
That has an empty dish on it.

Ken: (To be honest. It was quite of a change for our life for one more slot there. But it's all worth it tho. I'll be a good father. I think.) hehe
