Here's Cross - a Gengar Explorer who appeared twice during my Tickletober Stories!

Physical description: A Gengar of medium size, sporting a large, cross-shaped scar on his face. Cross usually wears a wide-brimmed hat, using it to cover the scar, as well as a bracelet with Gengarite. Like most of his species, he posesses certain level of shapeshifting skills; through it he styles his head spikes into a mohawk. He bears a guild tattoo, usually on the back of his right hand.

Personality: Mellow, relaxed and laidback, if a bit enigmatic, Cross is among the more experienced explorers at the Guild; though no one is sure of his exact age - or, for that matter, the age he was when he died and returned as a ghost - the younger members often see him as a honorary uncle of sorts. Unfailingly polite and diplomatic, he nevertheless prefers to stay away from leadership roles - which is the main reason Pixie remains as a leader of Team Underground Angels.

Story: Scars like the one on Cross's face, almost impossible to disguise even through a ghost's shapeshifting powers, are generally a sign that said ghost's previous life ended violently. When asked about it, Cross will gladly and in great detail explain how he died... and it will almost certainly be a completely different story from what he told the previous person who asked. What is certain is that he arrived at the town some ten years ago as a Haunter, already as an explorer of some experience, and applied to join the local explorers' guild. He quickly became popular among the town's children, some of which - including Pixie - eventually became explorers in their own right. When the Noibat enrolled as an apprentice at guild, Cross took him under his wing and, after he finished his apprenticeship, convinced him to remain at the town and form a team of his own within the guild.

Abilities and traits: Like one would expect from a Gengar, Cross can levitate, turn invisible or incorporeal, and posesses limited shapeshifting powers. His hat and Mega Bracelet are both crafted from specially enchanted cloth, allowing him to extend the invisibility and intangibility to them - it doesn't, however, apply to the Megastone set into the bracelet.

Cross isn't particulary ticklish, nor particulary interested in tickling other people; he is, however, responsible for rescuing Pixie from majority of his own ticklish predicaments.
