Going to be honest I'm not sure how many years it's been that he's been wondering around since the doctor died. I don't know how long it's been since Dr Javi is still around even if she calls him rawhead

There's probably going to be a moral quandary on whether or not it's right to remove the most despicable creatures imagnable from existence.

Esperanza seems to be immune to such moral quandaries. You heard what Rayco said in that last arc with Elder. "All threats to civilization, man or not, must be eliminated." Nobody questioned or opposed that statement or his decision to have Elder killed. I doubt anyone would question that screwmlins are the biggest threat to civilization that has ever existed in this world.

In other words screwmlins are actually screwed, rightfully so and they'll likely attempt some final desperate middle finger unmasking them for how truly pitiful they are.

Honestly, the fact that there were screwmlins in Esperanza, responsible for multiple crimes within the city, without their presence ever being detected by the city's fairly impressive security systems and personnel, is a true testament to how dangerous these fuckers are.

They worship the Goddess of Deceit. They might not be very smart, but they certainly should not to be underestimated.

A smart person can be predicted and outsmarted, but a not-so-smart or outright dumb person can be outright unpredictable...

Your comic is always a treat to see when you post. As for Dr. Nge, while Dr. Javi and her don't see eye to eye I quite like her character. She has been traumatized, tortured and abused by her captors to do their nefarious bidding. As such she is immune to any kind of emotions and isn't swayed by another's opinion. In other words, she no longer cares how you think or feel and will tell you openly.

I have to wonder If It's the backup lacking empathy or she just lost It originally.

If anything, her copy is a little less bitter than the original, thanks to having been inside Lazarus for a while.

Great job on this comic page and its artwork! I can't wait to see the last two pages for this comic series, Chapter 6. I'll be patiently waiting until the last two get released. Just do the best you can, and again, I'll wait patiently to see them.

Kind of curious but did Dr. Nge call Javi by an old nickname, or how he was before most the organics were replaced with nanotech resembling his old body?

Huh... Definitely a far, far more pragmatic and... callous mind then anticipated from a backup of Dr. Nge that was in Lazarus's head this whole time, but given the potential years of torture and, from what I'm gathering from the other comments you've made and some of the comments earlier in the comic, their nihilistic view is certainly not surprising. Out of curiosity, is Digi Nge still "needed" in Lazarus's head or will they be obtaining a new body at some point to have some more debates with Dr Rawhead in physical space? Given their immediate recognition and of each other, I've a feeling there is some additional history between these two that we may not be getting just yet but I'm kinda hoping may be another side story in the future.

The possibility of separating Nge from Lazarus will be discussed in the next page, yep.

ah I see she DID make a backup, though I never would have guessed the 4th voice was it. Lazarus is pretty logical place to put it, I can't think of a more secure place to store one at least. You did give some foreshadowing at least, it didn't behave at all like some background software process, seemed uncharacteristically alive and emotional.

It must really suck to be any of the few Screwmlins left who turned away from their race's evil ways, then lived to watch the end of the worked, and are likely now marked to be killed on sight by survivors who are unwilling to distinguish between a good and bad Screwmlin.

I guess this explains Dr. Rawhead’s reaction when Verónica was asking him about the intelligent fluid used in the city to make the walls appear as a more serene and peaceful background. While he didn’t directly develop it, it was based off of his technology, and he’s ashamed and disgusted of how it was used and the destruction that it had wrought. Unless I’m reading this wrong.
