So, after about 4 years of living in the same house, it's time to move on. I like this place, but we've been having water issues for over a month, and we only have a few reserves left. If we run out, we have to pay extra for more water [but that’s supposed to be included in the rent, not as an additional cost] Considering that and other issues, my mother and I decided it’s time to look for a new place.
These past few weeks, we’ve been visiting different houses. We even found one that was going to be THE HOUSE, buuut we had some problems with the landlord and had to cancel everything and start over. It was SUPER stressful, but after all that, we finally found a decent house to live in! It’s smaller than our current one, but since other rent prices were absurd, it’s the best option we could find.
Some of you may have noticed my lack of activity in DMs or even on Ko-Fi... Around two months ago, I finished building my new PC, it was supposed to be the start of a new era of working faster and on new projects. But with the water issues and the exhausting house hunt, I couldn’t return to my normal routine at all;;; I REALLY HOPE this will be the last thing delaying me from working properly again. [I swear I want to draw so bad vbfhdbvhdbfv, but most of my days were spent out of the house checking places, etc.]
This is still ongoing, but I think we’re halfway through the process. We still need to clean and fix a lot in the new house [since, yeah, we can’t afford a place that’s already perfect xD] We’ll have to clean a ton, paint the walls, and even add some fake flooring because the place needs a lot of work before we can move in.
I just wanted to make this announcement mainly for the people who sent me DMs and for my current clients. Once everything’s done, I’ll FINALLY return to normal activity. Thanks so much for all your patience so far~
