However, for my first foray into fluffy Faen, look no further than here! ;)
Nevan, an extremely rad individual with just the sweetest personality, is someone who VERY much enjoys vernids. Can't blame him, after seeing all the work he's done of them or media he's signal boosted, I do really enjoy their style and shapes myself - so when I saw that he was offering species-design swap potions and with ideas of drazerk-Taz slowly rousing themselves within my head, I decided "hey! >:O why NOT try it out, let's see how it goes!"

Suffice to say, looking at where we are now, it was a huge success. Observe this pure boi in vernid form, aahhh! His cheer, restored and his aloofness, discarded - his colors, vibrant! His ears, PRESENT!! His hands, FIVE-FINGERED WOAAHHHH!!! Nevan knocked it out of the park with the translation, and adapting so many of the very-reptilian features like the sharp frills and membranes and spikes into this form <3 I love the take on the forearms and shins, where there used to be a sharp frill now there is only fur and more fur! And then seeing the change to the fins and the torso fluff, and just looking at that face with furry mane and large ears extending back... ah, whatever soft spot I had for vernids is very much exploited here. Absolutely well done from Nevan's part, that shrimpy lad did such grand work on my exclusively-reptilian-until-now beloved character! He does such excellent work with anatomy and color design no matter the species, I am still so proud of this piece. ^-^
