So making a quick image for a character i have on hand whom didn't have a original reference until now, since i used Trias' Valerie Velociraptor artpeice you see on the side references as an placeholder for her for a long while. It's part of my "payment" for a commission with a friend of mine cuz the artist whom is doing our work needed a good reference for one of the characters (Valencia in this case) in the art and it sorta kicked me back into drawing for a little bit. So i dicked around and came back with this design for this character of mine now. It's a rough concept, but i think it's growing on me. I honestly know the artist whom is doing this joint commission's gonna draw her ALOT better than me, but hey wouldn't hurt to learn from it.

Still have to make the "street clothes"/regular-near-all-round wear a cartoon character usually has almost 24/7 as part of their signature designs, so i should make her refsheet with that in mind. If she grows on me alot i might just turn her into a model to companion my troodon self-sona model. And hey if my troodon wears Marty McFly's clothes, i might as well make her wear Jennifer Parker's clothes. But this is in her exercise getup and i gotta plaster 80's colors all over it so yeah, plus with this idea should make her somewhat muscular but still curvy. She'll be shorter than Tristan tho, since Tristan is 6' 9" (according to in-model measurements), so i'd prolly make her 5' 4" when i get around to making her model. That and seeing in Dinosaur Train that a trood is decently taller than a veloci so yeh.

And yes she is doing an oldschool thinking raptor meme cuz she's an old soul like me lol.

Main Image Description:

Whenever Valencia's in the mood to burn off some calories after carbo-loading (or possibly eating someone), she'll just get her 80's exercise gear on and go ham to keep her fit curvy muscular body in tip-top shape. Which heavily contrasts her friend Tristan's mostly sit-down-all-the-damn-time lifestyle and him being not willing to eat plants thats supposed to be part of an omnivorous dino's diet to keep him fit.

But no matter what, she may drag Tristan around to do some shopping or maybe force him to work out whether he likes it or not. She's quite active and peppy, cheery but also reserved; Putting "Clever Girl" to her name REALLY gets her going! And although she's not really one to ride public transit, much to Tristan's chagrin, she's elected to take the running game to put an ornithomimus to shame!

She still tolerates Tristan's Great Mesozoic Railway shenanigans and often gets caught up and catches a ride with the Troodon whilst the smart dino patrols the railways looking for any faults in the lines or just on a sunday drive to keep learning his vehicle's limits. She is that hot woman that listens to Tristan's autistic ramblings, and Valencia does find them amusing. But although the Trood's heart is for larger carnivores, Valencia doesn't mind the freindzone and likes being around him to dick around with him and keep the mostly solitary dinosuar company, but she knows it has added benefits; forcing the trood into bed to give her legs, thighs, hips and glutes a strong exercise in bed-breaking~...
