Lunar Tear[S] πΌ
Silent tears, drowned by time and memories. A2 swore sheβd never forget her family, treasuring the name that was given to her.
I played NieR:Automata in 2018, being captivated by the narrative and characters, I couldnβt help but to love the game, one of the best Iβve ever played. Years go by and the anime is released adding lore found on extra media thatβs been released after the game first came out, and I canβt help but still prefer A2 over the rest of the characters: her backstory and her development in such a short gameplay time playing as her is just stunning, I enjoyed her scenes in the anime just as I loved playing her part in the game.
(The anime wasnβt bad at all, and I particularly enjoyed the second season a lot, but it did add unnecessary plot holes where there werenβt in the game -specially on the first season-, some of this extra lore I mentioned wasnβt explored as it couldβve been and other stuff just didnβt make sense by the loreβs own logic so I guessed it was there just to make the situation more dramatic xD)
This picture is a remake of one I did in 2019 (This one), it was the second Semi realistic picture I did in Clip Studio (This is the first one) and you can tell I was still figuring out CSP tools and such, Iβve wanted to do a remake of it since last year and finally got the chance to do it, Semi real as the old one, so I could compare fairly. This time I decided to add two flowers, both Freesia, like the name Rose gave to A2 in the anime, I liked it so why not adding them here too? ^w^
I really enjoyed working on this picture, it was nice to draw A2 again, I might do it again, after all, I have several sketches featuring her with the character I ship her with (Very rare pair, a few people have ever liked this so donβt expect anything popular lol), you can see what Iβm talking about if you see this and maybe read the description, reading isnβt necessary especially because Iβm aware that itβs a very long description so itβs up to you xD
So! 2019 vs. 2025, which one is better? x3
