Days gone by all the way up on the Steps of Fay and more attacks from the Melted Lantern Raiders keep occurring in our skyward village. I went out to try to intercept an attack and prevent it from reaching the village. For a while, there was not much, just the usual birds flying by the sky islands and paths. Until I found a horde of raiders, marching on our paths to raze our village. They want something from us but nobody is sure what they want.

I readied my spear and charged at the horde, eradicating the captain by surprise. The head of the snake has been chopped but the rest won't yield so easily. I held my ground against the raiders, keeping complete focus and utilising the tools at my disposal. I took out half of the horde but they eventually overpowered me and set me on the ground, next to the edge. I don't want to accept death so early in warriorhood... I had so much to look forward to in what I thought was my future and I don't want those to be a failed fantasy.

But suddenly, A white furred entity shown up and went against the raiders. She was really fast and agile, difficult to keep consistently in my sight. But I noticed her using simple fighting techniques, using simple bo staff spins, some with one hand. She also was able to block ranged attacks by spinning the stick. The raiders still didn't want to yield and they kept fighting, but they were quick to fall to her.

I couldn't believe something wanted to save me, just a Fayhern warrior, It was like destiny listened to my thoughts. I looked at her undistracted from action and she appeared to be a Tailed Maiden from the snowfall regions of the isle. That made me wonder why did she want to come all the way here? just like those raiders and some travellers. I wanted to ask the lass about why but she was gone before I can ask. My question hasn't been left with an answer but I shouldn't linger on it too long, I should return to the village before lingering on it more.
