The mega slug that haunts my backyard. It was rainy very recently so it was moist enough for hir to venture out in the day time. As usual, shi scrunched up when I picker her up. But still...3 inches in the scrunched position?

I don't think it's that, they react the same way if I use a pencil eraser or anything else to touch them/ lift them. It's hir defense.

Awesome. I always loved going outside at night and looking for slugs. Such delightful creatures, and I always enjoyed the feel of their mouths rasping against my skin when I'd put some squashed tomato bits on my hand. :D
