Still have no idea if it's a Leopard slug or a Great Grey...they are almost indistinguishable...

The markings remind me of an african rock python's markings, especially around her head/neck region. (I'm sure that's probably not the right term, but I really know nothing about slug anatomy)

Indeed. We need slugs here, that get at least as big as this Giant African Snail: http://i.imgur.com/QNKEa.jpg
and even that is still too small.

I loooooove slugs so much ! They are so cute !
Slugs' friends are my friends.
And I like spiders as well.

I wish I found a slug as long as this one.

They are a bit on the rare side, and they don't usually come out till around Midnight. But if you have a lot of twigs and leaf litter around your yard, chances are you have one or two big ones around. :p

I know that all. But the slugs I find around my house are never longer than half of this one.
