So here's the start of a new story that I'll be trading off chapters between this and Afterimages.
Sera, an Arrontean pilot, dives her small ship through a collapsing wormhole in a desperate attempt to evade pursuit and ends up on the receiving end of a pirate ambush. When all is said and done, she wakes up in the medical bay of a Star Fleet starship being attended to by a most strange doctor of a race like none she has ever seen before.

Edit: Not sure if anyone's noticed it (of even read this yet), but I got the color for Falsedawn's uniform wrong. It was supposed to be a green triangle on the shoulders, not blue.
