Two ways to cheat: 1) use a screwdriver to pry open a corner, then disassemble the cube and reassemble it correctly
2) peel the stickers off, then put them back to make solid faces

Most cubes nowadays are made to come apart, with springs holding it together, so if it gets hopeless you can still disassemble and reassemble. ^_^
