Jiro suspected that something happened to her friends.
Days after coming back from a mission outside Japan, the Pro-Hero known as Earphone Jack was hoping to reunite with her group of close friends as all minus one had agreed on seeing each other once her trip came to an end. She tried communicating with her friends days before she arrived and after getting no answers from them, and finding no information related to their whereabouts, Kyoka decided to investigate a bit more.
What caught her attention were two incidents that happened back to back, with Midoriya, Ochaco and Tsuyu disappearing after a mission and Mina and Yaoyorozu not coming back from their break. One thing she remembered was something that Momo told her, about how she was happy that the pink gal and her could take a break at one of the mansions that belonged to her family. Apart from that and a few small details, Jiro didn’t have much information to work with, but still made the decision to leave for that part of the city. It was easy to find the place, being the only mansion there, and during her time scouting around, she noticed someone in one of the windows.
“Was that…no, it can’t be him. He was with Uraraka and Tsuyu,” Kyoka said to herself. She went there in hopes of finding Mina and Momo and yet, it seemed like Izuku was there too. Trying to put the pieces together, the young woman decided to sneak inside the place, doing that to see if her suspicions were right and not her being tricked by her mind. “I’ll go in and then leave in less than an hour, that’s enough time to see if they are there.”
She was firm about finding one of them there and of course, that was the case as ever since Midoriya used the two genies that now served him, he not only took control over the mansion, but also the other two Pro-Heroes. He was expecting Jiro to come, waiting for either her or Toru Hagakure to arrive at the mansion and even made plans for each to “convince” them to join them. “You know what to do,” Midoriya calmly said. It wasn’t necessary for him to explain the plan again, the four women knew their roles and as they wanted to please their master, they went forward with the plan.
Jiro was surprised to see the state of the mansion, being tidy and clean even if it looked like no one was there. This only caused her suspicions to grow, thinking more about the possibility of not only finding one of her friends, but all of them. As her search continued, with the young woman already looking around the kitchen and living room, she heard something coming from one of the rooms in the mansion.
“What’s that?” It sounded like music and after looking around, she found out where it was coming from. Jiro knew that this could be risky, she was the only one there and apart from that calm yet captivating melody, it was unclear if someone else was there, but nonetheless, the young woman decided to open the door regardless of the dangers. To her surprise, no one was there. “I don’t get it, it sounded like an orchestra was here.”
Again, she wondered if this was her mind playing tricks on her. She just came from a long and tiring trip and wasn’t fully on yet, so she didn’t discard that idea. What she didn’t know was that she fell for Izuku’s trap as he made Ochaco and Tsuyu use their powers to create a music that not only would calm Jiro down, but would also hypnotize her without her even noticing. She continued with her investigation, all while being oblivious to what was happening to her mind.
“Maybe…I got a hunch…it’s a library, so…there could be something here,” Jiro said to herself, feeling dazed yet using all the strength she had to continue. At the same time, the young woman tried ignoring that entrancing music, thinking that it was only a distraction and quickly reminded her about her priorities. This helped for a bit, but as she finished looking at every part of the library, she heard something else.
“Isn’t it nice? How can music help you relax?”
That voice sounded like none other than Ochaco. Not only that, but upon hearing the idea of relaxation, something else happened to her. She was starting to feel very tired and was having a hard time remaining standing. Jiro started to have multiple ideas in her head, going from things related to the music and the voice of her friend to what was truly happening there. Before she could react, she noticed something else around her body, a shiny green tail, but instead of running away, she remained still while she was being coiled.
“Poor Jiro, you are so exhausted. I bet you really craved for this to happen!”
“T-Tsuyu?” The moment she looked back, she found out that her two friends had become genies. This came as a shock, the two gals whom she believed were lost were right there. If she wasn’t that tired, she would have reacted differently, either asking them questions about what happened to them or to tell them to let her go, but once the music got louder, she stopped before trying any attempt.
The genies watched in joy, delighted to see that their friend was reaching a deep state of trance and looking forward to the future plans they had with her. There still was some resistance from her, but they had nothing to worry about as all of her attempts at trying to ignore the melody that was hypnotizing her or breaking free from the frog gal’s coils didn’t work. This was a battle she simply couldn’t win and while she didn’t want to accept it, someone else there knew about how this would end. “Enjoying the sweet sound? I bet you do?” Ochaco carefully turned Jiro’s gaze, showing her that Izuku, Yaoyorozu and Mina were also there.
By that point, the young woman was so lost that she could barely react. Midoriya just had to see her eyes to know that Jiro was no longer a threat. The melody that his two genies created did its thing, turning her into a blank canvas for him to do whatever he pleased with her. As Jiro was someone he knew since he was in the U.A. High School, and even worked with after becoming Pro-Heroes, he was set on making her another servant, one whose purpose would be to serve and obey every single one of his commands.
“This place, while nice, really needs more people so it can remain pristine. I’m not saying Mina and Yaoyorozu don't do a good job, they definitely do and I even rewarded them for that. All I’m saying is that one more helping hand won’t do any harm,” he filled her head with ideas that only benefited him, making her believe that this is what she was always looking for. “Would you like to stay? To become my little pretty servant? I know you want to and that you wish to stay here as my maid, but all I need is for you to say it.”
Jiro had a plethora of ideas in her head, all of which were linked to what the young man was telling her. She could remember that her reason to be there was to see her friends and yet, the more she listened to the entrancing melody and thought about what Izuku told her, the more sure she was that this is what she wanted. She had fallen so deep that she could barely speak, but nodding her head in approval was enough for Izuku to call this a success.
“It makes me so happy to know that you understand what is better for us,” Jiro could only listen, being eager to do anything that her new master told her to do. As a reward for letting herself be easily hypnotized, Midoriya commanded Ochaco and Tsuyu to let her enjoy that sweet melody in her new room, also giving the genies a chance to guide her into an even deeper state.
Jiro never expected to end up like this. Her original plan was to see her friends, fulfilling that promise she had, but in the end, not only she found the new state of her friends, but also ended up becoming the servant of Midoriya. She had a new mindset and goal, no longer being that Pro-Hero that always tried to help others and to do a good job, but becoming a maid whose main purpose was to please every command and order of her master. She had nothing to worry about now and because of her decision to give in instead of fighting, she was getting one reward that she would enjoy at its fullest.
Listening to that charming melody that helped her relax.
