Yeah, we're wired to be disgusted by such a thing because of health reasons, "it smells bad, therefore danger" basically, but looking at nature through a purely human perspective is rather limiting because of what naturally makes us disgusted, disturbed or scared. But as disgusting as it may seem, excrement plays a role in nature too. It's... normal, really. >w> From a butterfly's perspective, it just tries to survive like any other animal. :3 For that, gotta take whatever is available.
