It's here and out now folks! One of my own personally anticipated titles for the Nintendo Switch 2 is out and we'll be diving into it tonight - Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment!

While I wasn't a huge fan of the Dynasty Warriors franchise, after the original Hyrule Warriors was announced for the Wii U (with its Definitive Edition released on the original Switch), I fell in love with the series, so much so that I dove in with  WolfgerLion64 to play Age of Calamity together when he was visiting a while back. Now we have Age of Imprisonment, which is set long before the events of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom to witness the events that lead to all we see in those two games. Where Age of Calamity played a little loose with the lore of the events 100 years prior to Breath of the Wild, I expect Age of Imprisonment to follow closely to the original lore of the Imprisoning War as mentioned in Tears of the Kingdom. How much will we learn, and how much will follow closely with the game? Let's find out!
