I remember saying in my Red the Birthday Blimp art that I didn’t make art for Forestvoid’s birthday since I was running out of ideas, and I’m not that great at drawing Solkon since it’s usually inconsistent and off every time I try to draw him. However, I decided to do a redraw of my Solkon Blimped in the Clouds artwork, which is one of my favorite pieces of artwork I’ve made of Solkon, along with the one I made where he’s in a Balloon Room. I mainly chose it to redraw since I really liked the cartoony look I gave Solkon, and wanted to try it again, but in my 2025 art style, and it’s definitely a big improvement! The inflated limbs don’t look as off, I drew dragon wings which were missing from the original, and I even added some shading! Not a whole lot of shading, but enough shading to make it look much better from the 2024 version. This might as well be a belated birthday gift as well, since I missed out on making art on Forestvoid’s birthday due to staying up too late and me thinking that I would still suck at drawing Solkon, but this didn’t turn out bad at all! And I wish I would’ve made it for his birthday, but oh well, better late than never.
