This isn’t really a finished piece, but we had fun with it regardless. It was an experiment using airbrushed base paints with pixelated brushes overtop it, & also using hue shift to keep me on my toes when it comes to doing colors. The general vibe of it was inspired a lot by really really old video games from the early 80s & late 70s, & the album A Flame to the Ground Beneath. Also just wanted to do hatching.
