Besides the whole Sandy presence in Kamp Koral, Pearl's clear age is one of the biggest controversy for me. I think the campers there are stated to be 10, but Pearl appears as a baby, implying that they're 9-10 years older than her. And I hated that, as someone who thinks that SpongeBob is only a few years older than Pearl. So I decided to shove it and spitefully retcon this and give an explanation why she is a baby, like what I did with Sandy's presence in the prequel spinoffs as well as her nerdiness and stronger interest in science (That's not Sandy in my mind btw).



FACT (In my mind): She isn't actually 9-10 years younger than SpongeBob btw, she was actually de-aged by accident. And probably cured by the time the main show started.
