Just did a quick thing to clarify the design of Blade's skirt, after I discovered that I just don't HAVE any really good images of it in current pictures.
Yes, my strictly dom-hetero, bad-ass umbreon-man actually wears a skirt.
NOTES:
- His skirt is likely a custom-design of his own - not to say HE sewed it himself, but that he had it custom-made and tailored to his exact wishes and measurements. (His shirt, on the other hand, is much simpler.)
- His skirt is black and made of some kind of sturdy canvas-esque material. Reinforced. And the lining inside is something satiny or nylon or something (the smoothe stuff on the inside of a winter coat). The thread and stitching is very strong (like whatever they use on soldier's combat pants).
- It is also pleated and has a lot of extra material there, so that he could actually do the splits in it (well, actually, not that extreme most likely, but you get the point).
- Closure is comprised of those really heavy-duty snaps that are freaking hard to actually snap and NOTHING will get them back open again.
- Pockets are quite deep. (And they're actually supposed to be located at the same height on both sides - I just suck.)
- Tailhole is under the hem so that his tail can move freely without him giving everyone a freeshow. (Because he does sometimes actually go commando style.)
- EDIT: Oh, and I just realised I totally forgot to mention that along with the snaps, there's also a zipper - hence the need for the pleat in the first place. The zipper is hidden under the fabrick (so I don't have to draw it, LOL!), and zips from bottom-to-top to close it; top-to-bottom to unzip it.
Ahh.. and no one asks me about his potty habits, please. It's a skirt, for crying out loud. Any below-the-belt call of nature can be answered with multiple options.
