Heh, I know the feeling. It wasn't that long ago that I finished my first request, and I was so nervous about living up to the source material. Of course it didn't help my own conscious that it too six months to make a 6 page story, but he was quite patient, and loved the end result so much he asked if I'd be willing for another.

Personally I think this came out quite nice, though socks have got to be really tricky when you've got claws.

It took six months because I was in the middle of a creative drought. I couldn't even get the story off the ground for the first five, let alone decide what it was going to be (it's amazing how deceptively difficult a project can be when you're given total creative freedom sometimes), and it still took me another month to slowly get it done. I'm just glad that funk is letting up.

Oh, and as for the socks, most felines do have retractable claws I suppose...

Trust me, he's going to love it as much as i do <3
