Well, I'm trying a lot of new things here.
1. I'm a big fan of
Kuron's hilarious comic strips showing his characters as they go about day to day life with funny little quips and situations. I wanted to try and portray that same sense so I dreamed up this little conversation between Greg and Phil based on something I saw a few days ago.
2. In following this new style, I had to make a few changes. As a traditional artists, one that uses pencil and paper, it's not easy to do these long strips, so I had to experiment a bit with technology. I did this over a few pages and then 'stitched' them together.
3. Also, I wondered if I could ink digitally as well, which considering I only have a mouse pad and now drawing tablet, it led to less than perfect results >_>
4. I tried out my simplistic colouring again, just adding one layer of shadow and highlights.
5. And finally I tried to be a bit more adventurous with my character's clothing.
So, what do you guys think? I'd really like some feedback on this piece, both on the inking (as shaky as it is), the story (as bland as it is) and the actual drawings (....can't think of anything THAT bad with it, but give me time <_< )
Edit; Size issues fixed, thanks guys ^_^
