The girls, three henchmen they caught, even the one who was creeping toward the door, looked in shock after Copeland shot up an entire van.. Copeland walked up to the can, afterwards and forced the door open, but no one was inside. The Figure, Marshal, Devon, all three were gone without even a trace of blood left behind. Copeland grit her teeth as she breathed in, then let out this howling cry of anger. The henchman that was about to leave finally made his exit, slamming the door behind him. Copeland turned his way and ran to chase after him, but then Circuit came and grabbed her.
“Let me go!” Copeland shouted, “Let me finish him off!” She swung and flail wildly, but Circuit lifted her off the ground, “They need to be torn apart and burned on a tire fire!”
“Copeland, Calm down!” Tiger Eyes shouted, “They got away with Marshal and Dev. And if you had waited this wouldn’t have happened at all!”
Copeland turned to her, growling, eyes seemed to be bloodshot, “Don’t you pin this on me, you were taking too long and toying with MY BROTHER’S LIFE!”
“We were trying to make sure they had no exit!” Tiger eyes shouted, “You knew they had a teleporter and still just ran in!”
While they argued, Circuit set Copeland down and pulled out her phone, “Angel, any sign of that man?”
“Someone got out?” Angel replied, “I’ll try to spot them. Then what?”
“Get close enough, maybe I can track his phone.”
“Then what are we waiting for, we should go.” Copeland said.
“Not tonight.” Tiger eyes said, “Our first little rush was one thing, now I’m exhausted.”
“Then chill, The rest of us can.-”
“You’ll be resting too.” Circuit turned to Copeland, “You’re clearly unwell after what happened. Your eyes are bloodshot.”
“And lord knows how Angel’s feeling after flying through the cold night for hours now.” Tiger added.
Copeland looked between her friends, and sighed hard. “Fine, For the night… But we need to-” Before she could say more, she started coughing hard, real hard, to a point where blood spewed out.
“You’re getting rest too.” Circuit walked over to her, “Your condition seems to be getting worse.”
Copeland just glared at her annoyed, “And what if I don’t want to?”
Circuit didn’t make a sound in response. She grabbed Copeland and threw her over her shoulder.
Copeland kicked and growled and tried to get free, but Circuit didn’t even flinch in pain. She just kept walking as the other girls left for the night.
