If they're adapting elements of Super Mario Galaxy for the sequel, then it wouldn't be wrong to assume it's going to be exclusively the first one. Yoshi doesn't exactly show up as a gameplay element until that game's sequel, which raises the possibility of a further Illumination-handled third entry where more of Galaxy's elements are adapted to film, including Yoshi.
