I've had an idea for a game for a while now, but I haven't gotten a chance to get started on it. My computer's graphics card broke under its own weight and I can't afford a new one. My finances have been on a treadmill ever since moving out, and if anything, I'm sliding further and further away from being able to afford making this game.

The Ko-Fi page has a $200 goal for a new graphics card, I don't need a super strong one, so $200 seems like a good goal. If I'm able to achieve lift-off, I'll put progress stuff out for supporters: design art, screenshots, development builds, etc.

To give an idea of what the game is going to be about: It's going to be a side scroller with a traversable overworld akin to Zelda II, starring a precursor to my werewolf character that I don't draw that often (mostly for the reason that I'd been putting off saying too much about them because that's spoilers for this game, plus they'll get their own game in the future once I have more experience.) Plot-wise, an evil empire is taking over the world.
