Got started on drawing this recently, but didn't do the finishing touches until now. This is Skärve, and he's an idea I've had for a good while now.

Skärve is a strange shadowy creature that is contained deep within a magical ice caverns. Although these caverns can be explored by curious travelers, Skärve can hardly be seen by them given he manifests on another plane of the caverns. Instead, travelers tend to feel his presence around them while near or inside the caverns. Make no mistake however, because he can still sense and see whoever comes by. Skärve and the magic inside his caverns are the most powerful and accessible during peak twilight and he can open up a portal to allow others into his dimension during this time if he so wishes to. However, this portal will close at the end of twilight and those who are inside will be trapped in his realm with him.

More notes:
-Skärve can hop between different planes, being able to manifest himself in-person while also being able to form as a shadow on a wall. He can mimic different forms while as a wall-shadow and he loves doing this as entertainment.
-While on a 3D plane, he looks like a shadow but his skin faintly sparkles like they're made of crystals and stars.
-He can camouflage himself in his realm of the caverns, as he controls it. He may talk to others through this way before revealing himself.
-He is lonely and spends much of his time using the icy walls of his magical cavern to peer into the outside world and its inhabitants.
-He can "tag" and communicate with those who have traveled in or nearby his caverns if he's seen them. This is done by temporarily pulling their subconscious into his realm while they sleep. He is incredibly picky about who he chooses though.
-Skärve's image and how he appears to people can be influenced by how people view him. If they see him as scary, he'll appear more as a scary shadowy being. If they view him for who he really his, then they'll see his actual form.
-Skärve is very friendly and affection if you're brave enough to communicate with him.
-His version of the ice caverns are very beautiful during and after twilight. The caverns are darkened, but the walls and the roof look more akin to crystals and refract beautiful light and colors. There are also drawings and symbols edged into them.
