I may try to make it myself. I'm still doing my research on the subject of fursuit making. I've never made one before, and I know this would be a bit ambitious! Especially considering, I've got the busyness of my life working against me! Work, family, studies, etc. X_X I have very little free time as it is. I'll have to brush up on some sewing and craft skills. I might have to take it slow and build it in stages. We'll see what happens! If I can't carve out the time, I'll plan to budget for it, instead. Regardless, It'll probably be a while before it's done. XD
I would assume that it would be a while! Quality suits are going for unconscionable amounts these days, and it might just be worth your while to do it yourself, even with your time issues. I would bet the head and the digitigrade feet would be the tough parts. The hope is that you will design a head that is actually proportionate to the body, rather than oversized. And... if it takes a couple of years, who cares? The wait for a suit from a maker is at least that long, these days
