'... A thank you would be nice.'
It had been a long and hard battle, but at last, Astrid managed to defeat the ghost pirates, bring their ship to ruins and save the mermaid. Though her victory seems to have not given her any loot or even recognition as she's left with a damaged outfit stuck on a barrel in the water and a mermaid who has yet to even glance at her. Seems she'll just have to take it as a good deed done for the day.
'You can drop me now if you want. I got places to be anyways.'

And here we have the first giveaway winner's piece from
UsagiForehead. This one being for https://www.deviantart.com/thecaptainpulse who wanted to follow up last years pic showing Astrid rescued Emily, but wasn't receiving any praise for it.
I think this turned out really nice. The two girls look great in this! Astrid is still as appealing as she was before in this outfit, though the damage and slightly extra tearing and greatly to it to help show she's had a rough fight, even her hair has a slight change to it with her braid being undone. Though what makes this is her less then pleased expression towards Emily as she's being ignored after all her trouble. Emily looks about as bored as ever, clearly showing she couldn't care less while being held by the girl. She does look good though, and I do enjoy the minimal pirate hat on her. The background is also a lot of fun, as Astrid only stands on a barrel in the middle of the sea with only some slight wooden wreckage around them. It's a fun look and the night sky really brings it all together. It's overall a lovely pic I hope you all enjoy!
