In an alternate Golden Treasure: The Great Green universe… where Many-Times-Burned embraces nihilism and fatalism.
Most of my Golden Treasure songs have been power metal, partly because it’s my favorite genre and partly because Golden Treasure itself leans that way.
A few months ago, I was thinking about how genre is often just a matter of emphasizing different aspects of the same subject. So I decided to write this as an industrial metal counterpart to "Justice Demands." I did try very hard to keep the lore intact, with the exception of making MTB more pessimistic.
Inspirations:
- "Armageddon Clan" by Battle Beast
- "The Final Sacrifice" by Avantasia
- King Leonidas I of Sparta
- "There's a Platypus Controlling Me" by Povenmire, Olsen, and Marsh
