It was quite a long time ago that I’ve met you
At the time it seemed improbable
But who would have guessed it would’ve sprout something new.

Slowly at first, the feeling was just like an ember

When we first spoke
We were having fun
Role-playing characters like a drunk bloke
In a party traveling under the sun.

Soon, it became something beautiful
As we talked to each other
We slowly became more and more truthful
like clay being sculpted by a sculptor

As the feelings blossomed from its infancy
We became much more curious
As we explored the feelings with intimacy
Little did we know it became something serious

So I say to you on your day of birth
