Our Nithrak friend is officially called 128556h78j00p9, however tracking numbers are a mouthful, so he usually goes by his nickname, Raptor Darkclaw. He's a generalist predator type, pack hunter, multilevel forest dweller, trophic level three. Again, that's a lot of specifications, but it just means he's a small predator who lives in a forest. Now that Raptor is awake, he has to find his friends, and some breakfast in this place...
So I went a little nuts on the background, that's normal for me. I also tried to explain a little info about my main character and instead created a not-very-graceful info-dump, and still didn't explain as much as I intended. Oh well, I'm a visual artist, not a writer. You're probably also wondering about the coral jungle Raptor lives in, I'll explain more about that tomorrow.

I like this. It just gives so much to look at, yet isn't overbearing. I can imagine myself walking through such a place, even with that creepy bug there, watching. :D
The bold lines and diverse colors remind me of those old children's puzzles, where you have to find the objects hidden in the picture.
