I've had this pic idea in my head for over a decade at least... I think at bare minimum I wanted to have a pic like this since EFNW 2013? 2014? I forget. I knew I didn't have the skills at the time, and.. honestly, I had been saving it as a maybe commission from  Atryl or something, for whom I have always loved his strong use of color and mastery of drawing fantasy armor and such thanks to years of doing WoW fanart.

Obviously, that never materialized. I did have a friend pick me up a sketch from Atryl at a Con because they knew I wanted one, but didn't know I had a specific concept in mind. I'm forever grateful of that.

But also, if I save these bucket list ideas for only when the artist is available, these will only remain in my mind for the rest of my life.

Maybe I'll start drawing some of the stuff I've always wanted commission from other folks. for now, I'm pretty proud of how this turned out, and I also just like... having a second pic of Wishy in that normal furry art style Vs. being so tied to... pony, y'know?
