Bit of some personal art for once, alongside some minor worldbuilding for the Dillokin of ancient Greenstone!
The Carmelized Tukiki cake is a celebratory staple for the dillokin, made from steamed Tukiki potatoes, and a glaze made from Hebron Onion sugar, and seasoned with Kellep root. The cake is formed like a large mound of mashed potatoes, with the grated hebron and kellep on top, then placed into a stone mold. Drawn lava is placed atop the mold, which cooks it similar to a dutch oven method. Once the mold is removed, the Hebron and Kellep make for the glaze. Fancier cakes will include a wider variety of seasonings, or even give it a filling akin to a Lava cake.
The Dillokin homeland resides completely inside the Black Mountain Baroket, a mountain that by all means doesn't look like it belongs amidst the other mountains of the Agran desert. Here their diet comes from essentially Potatoes, Onions, roots, minerals, and Grutabagas (think domesticated pillbugs the size of cats) Admittedly they have cultivated a massive variety of potatoes and onions that all fill a variety of roles, some that act as a base for breads, some that can be fermented, and some that aren't even for eating!
