When I originally planned out Musicpsycho, this was supposed to be the other canon couple (planned this out before I had much idea of how these two would actually mesh / how their personalities would bounce off each other).

Almost as soon as I'd drawn this picture and was all proud of it, however, Blade decided he'd had more than enough of Rowen and was done with her... Of course, considering how much trouble I'd had getting ANY inspiration for images of this couple, I shoulda seen it coming (not to mention, it was clear he and Marijke were starting to pay just a little TOO much attention to each other).


Anyway, these two were together for about four years. (BTW, there is a huge age difference here: He's actually like 12 years older than she is - they got together, first, when she was 18.)


Notes: Yes, Blade IS supposed to be coping a feel here.
And, yes, I still do think this couple is kinda sexy - just that the age difference still somehow squicks me out (I don't know WHY, either, but it does)... it has something to do with Blade himself, though, being with someone that much younger than him (probably because *I* couldn't see myself with someone that much younger than myself, I dunno)... not that such age differences generally bother me.

Yes, Blade was originally 'just' a character in a story I was working on - so was Marijke - before he became my 'sona.
