I wanted to write something that was quite a bit lighter than my last poem. I am a romantic at heart; I love grand gestures and flowers, gifts and dinners. Words can be cheap (especially without action) but, the words are so important. So much can be left unsaid so when in doubt, speak your heart.
I pictured this as a conversation via short and sweet notes being left all around after the words are said, like a romantic scavenger hunt. One might assume a M/F couple but I tried to make it work for any couple (hence why I focused on using "I" and "You"). I hope this makes the work more approachable.
