One may say "Ajabu... you're only worth 1,000 pesos?"
I respond with "No. I am worth all of the 1,000 pesos papernotes combined."
About a month ago, I went on a trip to Mexico. I noticed that the 1,000 pesos papernote had a jaguar on the back of it. Being a territorial cat like I am, I knew that I had to steal his spot. Stealing his pose is just icing on the cake! I may not be native to the area, but that won't stop me from taking over!
Here's a full size image, of what the papernote looks like, if you're curious: https://i.ebayimg.com/thumbs/images.....jz/s-l960.webp
The writing on the side says something along the lines of:
"I wandered into the city of chaos, unsure of what I'd find.
Amid an endless sea of faces and cars, I became enraptured by the vibrance.
Local characters, so full of charm.
Local places, embracing their history and those who came before.
I returned enriched and wisened. Full of impressions to carry with me."
---- Since the artist is a native Spanish speaker, I asked them to make it sound poetic, in that language. So this may not be a direct translation.----

It just came to me.
In hindsight... I probably should've gone with this coin I have from Kenya, that actually has a lion on the face of it. But I never actually traveled to Kenya, so this has a bit more personal meaning.
I would love to see Kenya someday, though.
