The title's joke doesn't really work given it's not that Pokémon presented here. That said, I have finally finished another backlog for a friend! I got a bit greedy and busy with some contests back in the latter half of October, as seen in my last main drawing post with Avariex, along with another smaller pumpkin decorating contest at work. Funnily enough, we have another decorating contest with a turkey tomorrow (as of posting), but I keep drawing blanks on what to do as I'm putting my creative efforts into continuing the backlogs currently.

Regardless of the above text, this design serves almost as a sister drawing of one I did last year with Groundon and Kyogre in their podcast debate. Annoyingly, this one gave me much more trouble to do, a mix with being busy and just not understanding how to draw Zekrom. A shame, since while I like Reshiram more, Gen 5 was my start to the game series. I'm too lazy to post some of the progress shots as Scraps here, since it'd probably take too much space, but if you want to see all the scrapped concepts, I can suggest my Instagram. As a short hand though, the idea with this picture swapped a few times, as originally the pair were pointing at some gaudy wall art they found, but I could not get the angle or sizing to work at all. Hopefully this came out alright, as though it lost some of the complexity and cluttered vibe I was going for, the current angle is a bit fun and shows off the two being pretty tall going off their Dex entries. I also had a bit of fun reference Ollie's Bargain Outlet with the Axew poster in the background!
