The group, http://critterjam.deviantart.com/ , basically is a once a month art jam where an animal is chosen to be to be the focus of the month. It draws from a large variety of animals, especially ones that are "strange, unusual, or under-represented in art." It also has the secondary goal of helping artists to grow further in art by emphasizing things such as stylizing and shape-play.
