The Seazard is a fairly large marine reptile native to the southern coasts of Elysium. This aquatic lizard is a docile herbivore, unbothered by the company of any smaller creature as long as it's left in peace. It feeds on the abundance of seaweeds found in shallow, coastal waters.

As a reptile, it must leave the water occasionally to breed. Once a year, during the driest and hottest months, females will crawl out to shore and lay 50 to 80 eggs each. Much like Earth's sea turtles, they will come out in droves, overwhelming potential egg thieves with their sheer numbers. Their favorite nesting grounds include the beaches of the Northern Crown of the Abyss.

Seazards rarely venture out into waters deeper than 60 feet. While they are large enough to frighten off smaller sharks, toothed whales, and sea dragons, they are the perfect size for some of the larger marine predators.
