Those wires always managed to be wrapper around something and having dogs and cats you always had to be aware of where they were, made the gaming more challenging sometimes.

This made me cringe, i can still hear my atari hitting the floor when my family's dogs did this to me and my big brother while we were in a heated game of combat. =/

Thank GOD my gamecube was ok when I tripped over the cable....I doubt newer gen consoles will survive ANY falls.

This situation literally happened to me. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was sitting playing "Army Man", and my friend decided to jump over the cable out of boredom. I told him to stop, but he assured me everything was under control. Eventually, naturally, he tripped the cable, and the entire console flew off the table. After that, the console never turned on again. It was the fall of 2007.
