Meet the Lower Floors of Skal'garrn — and Turbo, who isn’t having the best time right now.
He has just arrived in the UPR and only recently met Ura, and their relationship is strictly professional at this point. There’s no one he can rely on, since only later will his future friend decide it necessary to bring him up to speed.
For now, Turbo is going through his first extremely painful experience of conscious killing, prowling through the darkest corners of the garn and starving.
And he’s starving because everyone who can is taking advantage of his inexperience and timidness in this new environment.
Turbo is tricked into being paid mere pennies, while for meeting even his basic needs they charge him triple.
